Socorro High Track & Field Teams Finish 4th in State Meet / Ocampo wins Discus, Lewis wins Pole Vault

The Socorro High Boys and Girls track and field teams finished 4th in the team competition at the NMAA State Championship Meet and Marysa Ocampo claimed the gold medal in the discus throw while Ayden Lewis claimed the gold in the pole vault. Below are the rest of the medal winners.

Relays – Girls 4 x 100 3rd place (Lucy Stuteville, Garee Apodaca, Lola Apodaca, Elise Madril) Boys 4 x 100 3rd Place (Brian Armijo, Jordan Armijo, Marcus Armijo, Adadrian Jackson)

Girls 4 x 200 6th place (Stuteville, G. Apodaca, L. Apodaca, Faith Lucero) Boys 4 x 200 (Same as 4 x 100)

Girls 4 x 400 3rd place (Kilee Mounyou, Stuteville, Lucero, Madril)
