Paramount Network’s Yellowstone is the most popular drama on cable television and one of the show’s stars, Forrie J. Smith, lives just north of Socorro and is this week’s guest on Mine Country 102.1’s Keeping You Informed that airs Saturday after SRN News at noon. Forrie plays Lloyd on the program that will start filming its fourth season in August. Host Steve Edmondson conducted the interview and asked Forrie about his background, his rodeo career, how he transitioned into acting, and much more. Forrie also talked about some local voter registration events he will be participating in beginning on June 20 at Cheryl’s Western Wear in Socorro from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. There will also be events on June 27 and July 11 at Forget Me Not Thrift Store and Southwest Feed in Socorro.
