These are the latest COVID-19 statistics for New Mexico:

Chaves (16) and Bernalillo (10) were the only counties with more than ten new cases. Bernalillo (159), McKinley (247) and San Juan (193) account for 75% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 78/6 (23 active cases), Catron 11/1 (8 active case), Cibola 399/20 (155 active cases), Lincoln 173/2 (102 active cases), Sierra 38/1 (25 active cases), Torrence 63/1(32 active cases) , Valencia 526/4 (229 active cases)

De Baca is the only county to have had no cases of COVID-19. Harding County has no active cases.

Hispanics/Latinos make up 44% of positive and Native Americans make up 32% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over 70 years old make up 7.9% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 58% of all deaths in the state.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 31% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.49% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions (UMCs) present for those under 50 only 0.07% have died. Those under 50 with no UMCs make up 1.4% of all deaths in New Mexico.

No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under thirty only 0.07% have died. If there is no UMCs present only 0.02% haved died. Those under the age of 30 account for 36% of positive cases in the state and 0.87% of all deaths from COVID-19 in New Mexico. Those under 30 with no UMCs present account for 0.25% of all deaths in the state.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.

New Mexico has the 22nd highest deaths per 100,000 (38) among U.S. states and territories. The U.S. 10th in the world in deaths per 1 million.
