Bernalillo (40), Dona Ana (39), Chaves (33), Santa Fe (14), San Juan (13), Lea (12), Eddy (11), and Curry (10) counties all had more than ten new cases. Bernalillo (176), McKinley (257) and San Juan (199) account for 73% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 103/6 (42 active cases), Catron 9/1 (4 active case), Cibola 422/21 (155 active cases), Lincoln 211/3 (119 active cases), Sierra 46/1 (24 active cases), Torrence 72/1(24 active cases) , Valencia 576/4 (228 active cases)

Harding County and De Baca County have no active cases.

Hispanics/Latinos make up 45% of positive and Native Americans make up 30% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over 70 years old make up 8.0% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 58.5% of all deaths in the state.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 31% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.49% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions (UMCs) present for those under 50 only 0.065% have died. Those under 50 with no UMCs make up 1.49% of all deaths in New Mexico.

No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under thirty only 0.077% have died. If there is no UMCs present only 0.019% have died. Those under the age of 30 account for 36% of positive cases in the state and 0.92% of all deaths from COVID-19 in New Mexico. Those under 30 with no UMCs present account for 0.23% of all deaths in the state.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.
