Dona Ana (33), Bernalillo (24), Chaves (24), Lea (19), Eddy (13) and McKinley (10) counties had more than ten new cases. Bernalillo (159), McKinley (243) and San Juan (192) account for 75% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 78/6 (23 active cases), Catron 8/1 (5 active case), Cibola 398/20 (156 active cases), Lincoln 171/2 (99 active cases), Sierra 38/1 (25 active cases), Torrence 63/1(32 active cases) , Valencia 515/4 (226 active cases)

De Baca is the only county to have had no cases of COVID-19. Harding County has no active cases.

Hispanics/Latinos make up 44% of positive and Native Americans make up 32% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 31% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.5% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions (UMCs) present for those under 50 only 0.07% have died.

No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under thirty only 0.08% have died. If there is no UMCs present only 0.02% haved died. Those under the age of 30 account for 36% of positive cases in the state and 0.88% of all deaths from COVID-19 in New Mexico. Those under 30 with no UMCs present account for 0.25% of all deaths in the state.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.

New Mexico has the 22nd highest deaths per 100,000 among U.S. states and territories. The U.S. 11th in the world in deaths per 1 million.
