Bernalillo (17) and McKinley (12) counties were the only ones with more than ten new cases. Bernalillo (167), McKinley (252) and San Juan (194) account for 74% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 78/6 (20 active cases), Catron 11/1 (6 active case), Cibola 403/20 (140 active cases), Lincoln 177/3 (92 active cases), Sierra 39/1 (24 active cases), Torrence 64/1(31 active cases) , Valencia 533/4 (214 active cases)

Harding County is the only county with no active cases. De Baca County and Guadalupe County have 2 active cases.

Hispanics/Latinos make up 45% of positive and Native Americans make up 31% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over 70 years old make up 7.9% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 58% of all deaths in the state.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 30% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.5% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions (UMCs) present for those under 50 only 0.06% have died. Those under 50 with no UMCs make up 1.4% of all deaths in New Mexico.

No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under thirty only 0.08% have died. If there is no UMCs present only 0.02% have died. Those under the age of 30 account for 36% of positive cases in the state and 0.96% of all deaths from COVID-19 in New Mexico. Those under 30 with no UMCs present account for 0.24% of all deaths in the state.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.

New Mexico has the 22nd highest deaths per 100,000 (38) among U.S. states and territories. The U.S. 11th in the world in deaths per 1 million.
