Hispanics/Latinos make up 46% of positive and Native Americans make up 28% of positive cases in New Mexico.
Those over 70 years old make up 7.9% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 59% of all deaths in the state.
Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 30% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.46% have died.
