Bernalillo (120), Dona Ana (70), Chaves (35), Lea (32), Santa Fe (31), Eddy (27), Curry (20), Sandoval (17), Roosevelt (12), Lincoln (11), and San Juan (10) counties all had more than ten new cases. Bernalillo (179), McKinley (258) and San Juan (201) account for 71% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 124/6 (62 active cases), Catron 9/1 (3 active case), Cibola 446/21 (161 active cases), Lincoln 237/3 (127 active cases), Sierra 50/1 (25 active cases), Torrence 84/1(31 active cases) , Valencia 624/4 (244 active cases)

De Baca and Harding counties have no active cases.

Hispanics/Latinos make up 46% of positive and Native Americans make up 28% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over 70 years old make up 7.9% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 59% of all deaths in the state.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 30% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.46% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions (UMCs) present for those under 50 only 0.060% have died. Those under 50 with no UMCs make up 1.45% of all deaths in New Mexico.

No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under 30 only 0.079% have died. If there is no UMCs present only 0.018% have died. Those under the age of 30 account for 36% of positive cases in the state and 1.0% of all deaths from COVID-19 in New Mexico. Those under 30 with no UMCs present account for 0.22% of all deaths in the state.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.
