Bernalillo (596), San Juan (136), Dona Ana (131), Sandoval (125), Santa Fe (106), Chaves (102), Valencia (89), McKinley (85), Lea (65), Eddy (39), Curry (35), Taos (25), Colfax (20), Otero (18), Rio Arriba (18), Quay (17), Roosevelt (15), Grant (10), and Luna (10) counties all had more than ten cases.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 623/27 deaths (361 active cases), Catron 36/1 (27 active cases), Cibola 1,657/44 (1041 active cases), Lincoln 781/8 (502 active cases), Sierra 344/6 (268 active cases), Torrance 317/2 (220 active cases) , Valencia 3,040/27 (2300 active cases.) There have been 243 cases in zip code 87801 (City of Socorro.) The number of active cases is unknown.

Those over 70 years old make up 7.77% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 60% of all deaths in the state. The case fatality rate for those over 60 is 12.42%.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 30% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.25% have died.
