Bernalillo (1005), Dona Ana (281), Sandoval (191), Santa Fe (170), Valencia (169), Chaves (164), McKinley (131), Otero (109), Curry (104), San Juan (100), Lea (73), Eddy (72), Cibola (72), Rio Arriba (61), Roosevelt (50), Taos (47), Grant (31), Luna (27), Socorro (22), Lincoln (21), San Miguel (12), and Union (11) counties all had more than ten new cases.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 494/26 deaths (286 active cases), Catron 29/1 (20 active cases), Cibola 1,261/33 (717 active cases), Lincoln 606/7 (367 active cases), Sierra 227/2 (166 active cases), Torrance 205/1 (118 active cases) , Valencia 2,155/21 (1535 active cases.) There have been 1677 cases in zip code 87801 (City of Socorro.) The number of active cases is unknown.

Those over 70 years old make up 7.74% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 59% of all deaths in the state.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 30% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.27% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions (UMCs) present for those under 50 only 0.039% have died. Those under 50 with no UMCs make up 1.58% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Two people under the age of 20 that have tested positive for COVID-19 have died. Of positive tests for those under 30 only 0.064% have died. If there is no UMCs present only 0.014% have died. Those under the age of 30 account for 37% of positive cases in the state and 1.36% of all deaths from COVID-19 in New Mexico. Those under 30 with no UMCs present account for 0.30% of all deaths in the state.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.
