These are the latest COVID-19 statistics for New Mexico:

Bernalillo (335), Dona Ana (162), Sandoval (63), Chaves (61), Lea (60), Valencia (59), Santa Fe (56), McKinley (53), Curry (46), San Juan (39), Cibola (31), Taos (27), Eddy (23), Luna (23), Rio Arriba (22), Roosevelt (13), and Socorro (13) counties all had more than ten new cases.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 383/19 deaths (196 active cases), Catron 14/1 (6 active cases), Cibola 950/31 (482 active cases), Lincoln 510/7 (329 active cases), Sierra 184/2 (131 active cases), Torrance 164/1 (89 active cases) , Valencia 1568/11 (1046 active cases.) There have been 120 cases in zip code 87801 (City of Socorro.) The number of active cases is unknown.

Hispanics/Latinos make up 44% of positive and Native Americans make up 19% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over 70 years old make up 7.86% of all positive cases in NM while accounting for 60% of all deaths in the state.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 while making up only 30% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.31% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions (UMCs) present for those under 50 only 0.048% have died. Those under 50 with no UMCs make up 1.74% of all deaths in New Mexico.

One person under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under 30 only 0.070% have died. If there is no UMCs present only 0.017% have died. Those under the age of 30 account for 36% of positive cases in the state and 1.32% of all deaths from COVID-19 in New Mexico. Those under 30 with no UMCs present account for 0.33% of all deaths in the state.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.
