Bernalillo County with 80 new cases, 25 in Lea County 22, in Dona Ana County, 21 in Chaves County, and 20 in San Juan County had the most new cases. Bernalillo (110), McKinley (216) and San Juan (178) account for 81% of all deaths in New Mexico.

De Baca is the only county to have had no cases of COVID-19. Harding county has no active cases.
Hispanics/Latinos each make up 40% of positive and Native Americans make up 38% of positive cases in New Mexico.
Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 and while making up only 31% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.49% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions present only 0.07% have died.
No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under thirty only 0.072% have died.
