These are the latest COVID-19 statistics for New Mexico:

Total COVID-19 cases-20,796 / New cases 210 / Deaths 651 / Recoveries 8,286 / Active COVID-19 cases 11,859 / Current hospitalizations 134 / Tested 565,886 / 3.7% Positivity rate

Bernalillo County with 68 and Lea County with 21 were the counties with the most new cases. Bernalillo (119), McKinley (220) and San Juan (180) account for 80% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 73/6 (24 active cases), Catron 4/1 (3 active case), Cibola 333/17 (182 active cases), Lincoln 99/1 (85 active cases), Sierra 29/0 (22 active cases), Torrence 59/1(38 active cases) , Valencia 357/4 (224 active cases)

De Baca is the only county to have had no cases of COVID-19. Harding county has no active cases.

Hispanics/Latinos each make up 40% of positive and Native Americans make up 37% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over the age of 50 make up 90% of the deaths from COVID-19 and while making up only 31% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.47% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions present only 0.07% have died.

No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under thirty only 0.07% have died.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.
