These are the latest COVID-19 statistics for New Mexico:

Total COVID-19 cases-21,016 / New cases 210 / Deaths 654 / Recoveries 8,343 / Active COVID-19 cases 12,019 / Current hospitalizations 127 / Tested 574,253 / 3.7% Positivity rate

Bernalillo County with 68 and Lea County with 21 were the counties with the most new cases. Bernalillo (119), McKinley (221) and San Juan (180) account for 80% of all deaths in New Mexico.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 73/6 (24 active cases), Catron 4/1 (3 active case), Cibola 336/17 (183 active cases), Lincoln 105/1 (90 active cases), Sierra 29/0 (22 active cases), Torrence 60/1(39 active cases) , Valencia 369/4 (235 active cases)

De Baca is the only county to have had no cases of COVID-19. Harding county has no active cases.

Hispanics/Latinos each make up 40% of positive and Native Americans make up 36% of positive cases in New Mexico.

Those over the age of 50 make up 89% of the deaths from COVID-19 and while making up only 31% of all cases. Of those that are under 50 years old only 0.48% have died. If there are no underlying medical conditions present only 0.07% have died.

No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died. Of positive tests for those under thirty only 0.07% have died.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.
