These are the latest COVID-19 statistics for New Mexico:

Total COVID-19 cases-13,727 / Deaths 519 / Recoveries 5986 / Active COVID-19 cases 7222 / Current hospitalizations 133 / Tested 385,242

Bernalillo County with 88 new cases, San Juan with 34 new cases, and Dona Ana County with 24 new cases made up 66% of the new case reported in the state.

Socorro and bordering counties: Socorro County 61/5 (23 active cases), Catron 2/1 (1 active case), Cibola 242/14 (116 active cases), Lincoln 14/0 (10 active cases), Sierra 14/0 (12 active cases), Torrence 48/1(30 active cases) , Valencia 155/2 (77 active cases)

De Baca and Mora remain the only counties to have had no cases of COVID-19. Harding and Guadalupe counties have no active cases.

Those over the age of 70 make up 59% of the deaths while making up only 9.3% of those that have tested positive for COVID-19.

There have been 50 deaths among those that are under the age of 50 due to COVID-19. That is 0.55% of that age group that have tested positive for COVID-19 and died. Only 8 of those 50 did not have underlying medical conditions. So of those who have tested positive for COVID-19 under the age of 50 and had no underlying conditions only 0.08% have died. 0.11% of those under the age of 30 that have tested positive for COVID-19 have died. No one under the age of 20 that has tested positive for COVID-19 has died.

84% of those that have died from COVID-19 also had underlying medical conditions.
